You dont know what i think because you half ass read. If youbdid you would be able to describe it. Again reading comprehension is key, youre arguing apples to oranges. Guess what? I bet you theyre not sitting at 1 jets drive saying what youre saying. Theyre def saying what im saying cuz they know. Why do you think that they even listened to Moore to begin with. If you actually knew how i felt, i said they should have gone run heavy, tone down the passing and play that way. Gues what, the eagles are a run heavy team and are they not putting up good numbers? The total points not relevant to the conversation. You cant rely on scoring 30 points in the 4th to win every game, thats an asinine way of thinking. This team has left plenty points on the board also its a simple fact. Go look at the route percentage of Moores and tell me that fits his skill set. Tell me MC1 belongs split out wide every 3rd down. You cant. Do we have some nice wrinkles, a couple but its not good. Its just fortunate. Not hard to understand
Dear god man, I'm not a massive fan of the OC but come on, we have only just learned how to win after 10 years and you are expecting 30-40 points a game, fuck.
I'd love it but I doubt the Eagles are that dumb. Smith is both a better player than Moore and a lot better teammate. Maybe we could ship Moore and a pick for him.
Theyre at 26 already. Most of which came in the 4th, you telling me they cant put 1 to 3 more TDs on the board in any game this season?
KC with Mahomes, Hill, Kelce and Reid as HC didn't score 30 points a game last year but the Jets should be doing that this year. Pure comedy.
Only because apparently youre not looking at a stat sheet. Im not gonna repeat myself. Its very feasible and should be the case. Emotions arent facts
I think it makes perfectly good sense. We are where we are because Zach is playing mistake-free football and we have so much talent on offense. It should be hard to keep this offense from putting up a lot of points and racking up a lot of yards both on the ground and in the air, even with the injury issues on the OL. That we haven't been any more successful than we have, is on MLF. I also think that our rating is largely due to when Flacco was playing and throwing the ball so much. Take that away, and our rating would be a lot lower.
You must be a big believer in Zach Wilson then. It's not him holding this juggernaut offense back, it's Mike LeFleur.
not trying to stir the pot but this situation reminds me of OBJ in Cleveland some. OBJ is certainly a diva (and shouldn't have done what he/dad did) but to a large extent he was right too. Moore seems like a good guy (religous etc) more than a narcissist. i think his frustration just boiled over because they're not throwing the ball enough. I think he deserves a second chance in due course. And hopefully as the Jets establish a running game that will open up some better play action or other passing options.
I'm rooting for Mims and hope he has a great game, making a couple of key blocks, catching 6-7 passes for over 100 yards, and scores his first NFL TD.
Its def MLF. If you think hes good, then i have a condo in the Bahamas for you. If you think its ZW then youre just delusional. The Jets have more talent than KC and why do they score more points? Scheming. KC doesnt have better running backs, they dont have better recievers, but they do have an all world TE. So why dont we score more than them.....scheme. dont give me the Mahomes thing, i watched him throw 2 dumb ass INTs, the type of which he does often at important times. The type that people here would want ZW burned at the stake for. You think this team is winning playoff games with this offens as is? No they arent. This team should make the playoffs short of an epic collapse.
Guy is an absolute stud and leader. Couldn't be happier with him. Probably the safest jersey purchase of anyone on the team.
I agree. I think the issue with Mims last season was totally on MLF and his ridiculous insistence that Mims learn all 3 WR positions in a complex offense before he could play after he missed OTAs and a big chunk of TC missing installation of a big part of the offense and not getting the reps to help him learn. I was excited about MLF and think he has the potential to become a great OC and a great HC, but right now, I think he's as much part of the problem as he is responsible for their success this season. He needs to get over himself, adapt his offense to the players he has, and do a MUCH better job of game planning and play calling. There is absolutely no excuse for two very talented WRs, each of whom is a very high-character type of person, to have had problems and already requested a trade. If MLF doesn't show significant improvement, then I hope some team will hire him away or Saleh will be forced to fire him, albeit reluctantly. Right now, I think Ulbrich is a far superior coach to MLF.
The irony in all this is he complained about his role in the offense and his lack of targets, and now he gets even less. Way to play your cards, Professor!
I'm not anti-religion, I think it does a lot of people a lot of good. I feel like a lot of these super religious athletes use it as a pass to act like a shithead though. oNlY gOd CaN jUdGe Me
Did you not just say in the post that I quoted, "This offense is not moving the way it should thats on the OC."? If I misinterpreted that statement then I sincerely apologize. I'm not sure there's really any other way to interpret it but again, correct me if I'm wrong. So at least in that sense, I think I know what you think because you typed your thoughts out and posted it onto a message board. Right? Wait, you think Saleh, JD, and MLF agree with your stance that MLF isn't using players correctly? Wouldn't JD and Saleh just fire him if that's the case? I mean, it would be a terrible look to fire the OC who's offense is 10th in scoring so far but you're right, I'm sure they agree with you on this. Very logical stance. I just want to make sure I'm following you here, scoring points is not relevant to a conversation being had on how effective an OC is in utilizing players correctly? I simply can't agree to that. I guess we should just go on the eye test like you alluded to earlier because clearly that would show all of us your point. I've said that MLF can be better so I agree with you there. I think that we're just gonna have to agree to disagree on the rest.
Eagles aren't trading Devonta Smith for anything at this point. He's a good complement for A.J. Brown and he has chemistry with Jalen Hurts. Also he was the #10 pick two years ago so they have a big investment in him. They're also not going to have any interest in adding another young WR who will want the ball. Between Brown, Smith and Goedert there's no more ball to go around. The Texans might be interested in him.
