We are 4-2... We just buried Aaron Rodgers and Packers in Green Bay...Can we chill?

I wanted to see progress. It was looking bleak in the beginning, but up til now is more than I had hoped. I really think that if they can get the offense moving early in games we can compete with anyone.

 

I was just hoping not to get blown out. This was awesome.

 

The Jets have equaled last years win total in just six games…..

 

I agree with you Brook. This win was as SIGNATURE as signature gets. I think Lambeau is generally thought of as the most difficult place to play? I don't care what anyone says about the Packers the Jets DESTROYED them today. They literally spent of the 4th quarter strictly running the ball and the PACK still couldn't stop us even though they knew plain as day what was coming....

 

Do you really think Vegas is right? They said before the season the Jets will win 5.5 games.....

 

I said 7-8 wins screw Vegas. As of now however figuring at least a split with NE, and home games vs Chicago, Detroit, and Jax….then 7-8 is bare minimum.

The defense played really well, the offense has some playmakers but.... the main piece is still missing, despite drafting that piece at #3 and #2 overall in the last few years. I just hope this team won't end up like those "had we had anyone better than Sanchez, we'd have gone all the way" teams ..

 

My goals haven’t changed, in the hunt in November . I expect some stumbling at some point around thanksgiving as some of these rookies, namely sauce and hall might hit the rookie wall

 

I don’t think Hall will. He’s used to getting drilled into the ground. Sauce also played 13 games his last year at Cincinnati so both should be pretty used to playing a longer than usual schedule.

 

I was there…first time in that stadium. I will say this…when we were on O and they egg the crowd on to get loud, it gets LOUD. No joke. I had no idea it was like that. I can see why it’s tough to play there….

It’s an incredibly low bar to clear as 2021 was a miserable season, but based on past results gotta be happy with 2022 season so far!

 

Last 4 years were over in Sept so playing competitive football post Thanksgiving will be a huge improvement. That’s the type of progress we all been looking for.
