On offense yes, but this is just not enough horses in the bullpen

Need a combination of both. It’s so hard to win games when you gotta string together 3 or 4 hits in a row to score one. I witnessed it all year. I rather the homerun or die approach though..

I may be blinded, but I think Cole is going to come out and give us a chance to win.

He's been sad most of the year, but this will be a game he shows up.

Even if we somehow, magically pulled off 2 in a row… gonna be nothing but noodle arms left to face Houston

Should have put Hicks in left field for defense in late innings over Cabrerra.

Not for his bat but for his glove. Hicks is a great outfielder.

I’m not the one bringing up the Mets in a Yankees thread.

    Rent free.

I was sitting 6 rows up right at first base last night...that ending was every bit as brutal as it looked. I feel like it was the sports gods were paying me back for beating the Browns the way we did...

How is it possible that the Guardians beat the Yankees last night when the exit velocity of all their base hits in the 9th inning was so low?

    So fucking awful.

We should've won this series already...I'll say we should win tonight but I think we lose.

Hope it leads to firings of Boone, Cashman and his people. We need overhaul changes in how we build teams

The bullpen management has been atrocious.

Agree. He can't come out and give up something like 4 home runs in 4 innings. Games like this is why the Yankees paid him.

It is, but I think even if it was used perfectly it still would be tough up get 12 outs in one game. I really hope Holmes was not available last night, is he was it's just another mistake by Boone.
