Hard to tell really? I'm finding that Hall is very effective in the passing game also. The OL is rather unsteady and in general they don't do their jobs. That said, Breece Hall is an excellent player....
Of course he's capable, but in today's NFL, it's running by committee, and it's a passing league, the days of RBs being the workhorse are over
He's definitely capable, but I would guess that the combination of our O-line being in the state it is as well as the running game very much being a committee approach with both Hall and Carter, I don't think he'll get there. That doesn't mean he's not fully capable of doing so, but the circumstances probably will keep it from happening. Still looks very much like we have a winner on our hands with both him and Carter.
You pull a quote/comment from last week's game to make me look bad? Talk about a "derp"... that's some weak-ass shit. Nobody has been a bigger Breece cheerleader than me... nobody. I expect a sweet apology forthwith...
I'm not saying he'll get 1000, but keep in mind that if he plays all 17 games he only has to average just under 60 yards/game (58.9), which I think is very doable even with a RB by Committee.
1000 yards? I assume you're talking about next week in Green Bay. Maybe, running and receiving combined! Actually I hope Hall DOESN'T rush 1000 yards this season, or any season. I really don't want LeFleur to run him into the ground so 3-4 years from now he's so beat up he's useless. I hope we spread the carries (and the hits) around. Keep our entire young squad fresh and healthy as possible for as many years as possible
There is another 1,000 and 1,000 guy that Breece is related to. https://www.ninersnation.com/2021/1...-state-breece-hall-roger-craig-family-history
His 79 yard catch and run was electric. I wanted him to drag the defender unti the end zone and then spike the ball on his head.
He's one of these running backs the longer the game goes the stronger he gets. Old fashioned Smash Mouth Football.
I saw of TV today that 606 yards from scrimmage in 6 games is the most for a Jet rookie since 1964 I believe, incredible
It's unreal. One stat after another of mind blowing accomplishments by this team. Our New York Jets are a force to be reckoned with.
Breece might be the best RB they've had in decades, yes including C-Mart, Barring injuries, he WILL be the best in decades. What a difference-maker! Having him takes a huge amount of pressure off Zach and will allow the Jets to not have to put all that pressure on ZW to win games. If they can keep this running game going like this, it's going to open the passing game for Zach later on.
