We actually were stopped by 2 horrible McGovern plays but Saleh called the fake punt and that got us a TD instead...
Flacco is looking pretty sharp so far. Hope we can finish strong. Cooper is a problem though. I wish we could keep Sauce on him in man.
I would say a Fumble recovery is a legitimate stop, unless you mean specifically having to punt, but a Fumble is definitely a credit given to the D for me.
I am really impressed by the toughness of this team. They have faced a lot of adversity this game getting punched in the mouth a few times. They could have easily given up but they have kept calm and keep coming back.
a sack that causes a fumble that the D recovers is about as LEGIT a stop as a D can make, usually was a BAD fumble by Flacco?

That TD to Hall looked like something that would happen AGAINST the Jets. Pleasantly surprised we're in this game at half time

I said this in another thread... These are the types of mistakes that we should EXPECT r/n Lotta new parts moving around in a new environment and it's gonna take a few weeks... It's about only making that mistake once, and never again. ...gotta give it a few but yes, that was definitely one that was doomed from the start based on how much pointing and movement before the snap...even the LB'ers looked oo sync.
This is the type of game I was hoping we’d play this season. Scrappy. We’re still gelling, eventually we’ll be firing on all cylinders. If the D can step it up, we’re going in the right direction.
