If you used the draft simulator a couple months ago the Jets had the fourth overall pick. It now has the Jets picking sixth. It was easier to get more players and picks when using the higher pick that we were alloted before. Now it is harder.

I like the picks & the position focus ----- but we're really going to need to trade down & accumulate more 2nd and 3rd rounders. Too many positions lacking & we're going to need ammo.
In a vacuum, I absolutely would trade down. But, we need a playmaking LB and Simpson looks the part of one. I wouldn't want to pass on him. That's a depressing thought in September.
This site now has us picking 25th. We'd miss out on the top LB's, but if it means a playoff appearance, I'll take the trade off.
