As I enter my 40th year as a Jets fan, at least they delivered like most of the previous ones. Plus ça change.

Yeah, we've been here before, but I'm not that despondent. I see difference makers on the field with this team, but lack of familiarity, inexperience, and poor coaching/preparation being issues (along with teammates that are decidedly NOT difference makers). I feel like there are building blocks on this team, and that's encouraging to me because they're all really young so they will be built upon...theoretically.
I watch this team numb. I'm surprised you still are able to get annoyed after 40 years. I get surprised, but not annoyed or sad. Honestly I barely feel like I'm a fan how uninvested I am in this team. I do get the feels when they do something good still at least
