If Mitchell keeps looking decent keep him in when Brown gets back at LT in a few weeks. Problem being if Fant keeps playing like this we may not have any QBs left by then.
While many of the same frustrations remain, there are definitely multiple high-end pieces on the field for the Jets. Even with only 3 points, there's a level of viability you can see if things go right. Breece Hall getting 5 yards on 1st down on a simple run behind Tomlinson was really gratifying because it was a nothing play that existed only because of their high-end talent. Need Fant to be better and Flacco to make quicker decisions (or have quicker plays called), but there's something there. It's not an unmitigated mess like we've seen in recent years.
so... all.... chime in on the class of 2021 QBs... Trey, Lance and Trev all look pretty MEH if we also have MEH in Zach... it doesnt look like we dodged a bullet... MAc looks more competent but its all dink dunk... Tua having a nice day. The Waddle connection willbe more than the Hill connection.
Yeah…other games are fun to watch, we’re sitting here watching a barn burner…hard to imagine seeing a fun open Jets offense
Fant worked at RT for the past three weeks until Tuesday. Now he's back at LT and the rust is showing a bit. The overall handling of the Oline is what's been disappointing because we expected JD to be an Oline guru. He's not.
Let me get this right. Even though I’m not thrilled but before the game we were going to be blown to shit by the half according to many. We are 10-3 with a missed field goal and a couple of offensive blunders with Flacco at the helm with zero mobility and a rookie LT. Meanwhile the D is playing lights out and some here call it same all Jets. Same all Jet fans may be.
All right here we go for second half… offense is really about consistency…we have a good run or a pass and then nothing…defense playing well simms commenting on how fast we look at halftime, that’s nice to see, now we need to close some of those sacks
