The last Jets running back to top 1000 yards was Chris Ivory in 2015. Will Hall reach that mark?? With the addition of Laken Tomlinson from the 49ers the line seems much improved. Baring injury I think he can.
Of course he "can"... ... but it depends on how they divvy out the carries. We've got at least two good backs... maybe three if Zonovan (what a name) keeps flashing. Breece is my boy though... I love the way he jukes and finds holes and his field vision. Plus he can scamper pretty good... If they feature him I think he'll deliver.
Probably not, just because that would mean Carter is being used very infrequently, which I don't think will be the case.
A lot will depend on Zach and the D. If the D is bad, we will be forced to be in catch up mode and we will have to pass too much for that. If Zach does not make a jump the O will not be the field long enough to get Breece enough touches. Big running yards can only be generated if there are enough long ball control drives. However, I will be optimistic and say that Breece will make a strong run at those 1000 yards because of overall team improvement and because he is that good.
Yes. Breece has serious breakaway speed, and he will blast quite a few loose for a long TD. That really helps the yardage stat.
No, probably not. I think he'll get to 850-925 this year barring injuries. I think the Jet offense will struggle for the first 6 weeks or so, and like some have mentioned already, it'll be a RB by committee type of deal. I do however envision him breaking a 1,000 multiple times in the coming seasons though.
My thinking is, he will have a breakout game against some shit team where he racks up 200 yards. If he averages 75 yards for 11 other games, which is more possible given the extra game on the schedule this season, that leaves 5 throwaway games for him to adjust at the beginning of the year and also miss due to injury. Win or lose, he can do it. And he is going to be the bell cow.
I’m hoping he will be a real weapon for us this year, the kind of back who just demands the ball because he is so effective. I’ll need to see him in preseason games to get a better idea, but I think he will top a thousand yards.
I think he will get 1000 between running and catching. My gut says he will be thrown to coming off the back field alot more than people think.
If he doesn’t rush for a g-baby barring injury, we made a mistake. You don’t draft a back at 36 and put them into a heavy timeshare.
Yeah...he'll be the man. He'll rip off the yardage (5.8 avg. from scrimmage)... ...and he's got a nose for the end zone... 56 td's in three college seasons.
