There is a difference between disagreeing and Ignorant or just plain wrong statements.

There's a difference between disagreeing and being completely ignorant. I disagreed with the premise of the article I provided for you but I'm not ignorant enough to disregard the contents of it. Ignoring the article completely would be ignorant, not disagreeing. See how that works?

This has gotten so convoluted that I've lost all desire to explain it more to you. Just the way you wanted it.

Ehhh, no. If Hall just had a lot of tackles then your argument would hold water, because he was just there after the play was made to take down the receiver. You don't naturally accumulate PDs in the NFL, especially 16. Revis had 19 in 2009 and he was targeted a lot. (Edit: ok, I'm wrong here, he had 31, but 16 is still pretty damn good. )

Hall did give up a few ugly ones at the end of the season that had me wondering about him, but he was mostly solid throughout the year from what I remember.

On other news. Remember some of the outrage at draft time by those Jet fans that thought Sauce was a luxury pick. “We don’t need top CB play in our system” was the rational.
IMO Hall is a strong contributor but we have significantly improved the position. And rightfully so. Kudos to JD for improving the team and kudos to Brook for controlling the Trolls masquerading as Jet fans.

Yeah in hindsight I think it's pretty hard to argue that Sauce wasn't the right pick. I can still see an argument for Icky but Becton is trending in the right direction and Icky would've been a huge waste with a healthy Becton.

The beat reporters have been pretty adamant that it's clear Sauce is a tier above the corners we had last year. That's really encouraging and I think corner is a premium position in any defense with how pass-happy the league is.

I was unaware that I could post the article - I will do better in the future.

A long time Jets fan since the days of George Nock.

I was curious about the DC. Reed has played slot but has more then made his name known playing on the outside so he’s easily capable. Sauce is def an outside CB. Hall is too. Would the Jets have Sauce and Hall on the outside with Reed as slot? I really haven’t read into the CB and who’s been where. Echols is still there (who seems to have more ability to be a playmaker on the ball). Guidry, Dunn and MC also all are options for the slot. Has anyone known who’s gotten the majority of first team snaps?
