If its in the earlier portion of the season (Sept, Oct) then a road trip to Buffalo is nice. We drove up there a few times but it does take about 6 hours. We hit the Seneca casino, also saw the Isles play the Sabres that same weekend. Of course when you are in Buffalo you have to get wings. They don't disappoint. The tailgating at the stadium is fun, its like a college atmosphere. The atmosphere in the stadium reminded me of Giants Stadium/ Shea Stadium. Back in the day when the real fans could still afford to go to the games. Sadly raised ticket prices and PSL fees have priced many fans out. Be warned wear your Jets stuff at your own risk going into enemy territory.
Come on now. Jets vs Pats or Giants vs Cowboys. Cowboys have bigger following nationally. Giants have bigger following in NY area. You are right that Giants suck but we aren't far better in the eyes of average fan.
It wont be the same in Buffalo for very long. My friend who is a Bills season ticket holder was bitching just this morning, apparently he was given a survey from the team telling him that in order to keep the season tickets he's had for 16 years in same general area in the new stadium (paid for my taxpayers) he will need to fork out $9,000 per seat in PSLs lol.... for a stadium across the street...
They have to be cheaper then what the Jets and Giants have charged for PSL fees. That sounds like a lot for a small market like Buffalo. I would have guessed $5000 per seat as the top price. They don't have the corporate support of NYC to draw from.
It has a 1pm EST game when the Jets play in Seattle. It’s a fake I think, Seattle generally doesn’t have home games so early
It has to be local time for Seattle. There 1:00 is our 4:00 but I doubt this is the schedule. One more day until we find out.
The account corrected that in a tweet which is below the initial one. "*Vikings, Seahawks and Packers are believed to be 4:05-4:25 start times" Again, not saying this is or will be accurate but it's possible.
This guy is pretty good for Broncos info. Seems like the Jets may be heading to Denver in mid-December.
I'm going to Pittsburgh with some of my college buddies that are Steelers fans. I'd imagine it's similar to most road environments -- Don't be a jerk and expect to get heckled.
