I really like Travis Jones for them. Obviously Nakobe Dean is interesting but I think my favorite options are Jones or maybe Raimann. Later, Ruckert is my favorite TE
for round 2 if dean is there it's hard to say no. otherwise travis jones. for round 3 not a big fan of players who will be there around 100ish. maybe cam jurgens or zamir white. if dulcich falls i'd take him otherwise a trade down to get a 4th and 5th would be nice for round 4 (we have no 5th, 6th or 7th) a RB who falls, maybe a TE flyer like ruckert or woods. would love to take a chance on damone clark. yeah he'll sit his rookie year but he's a 2nd round talent who can replace mosley in 2023. also DTs like noah eliss or neil farrell to replace foley or a S like marquese bell
My heart wants Breece Hall but I know Saleh and co always drafted late round RB in SF. My guess is they get Brian Robinson in round 3. Also, if they want Travis Jones, we will know how high they are on him from their Senior Bowl scouting. Jaquan Brisker Brian Robinson Cade Mays: Backup for Fant
Think it'll come down to Dean, Jones, Brisker, or Raimann at 38. I would rank it Dean, Brisker, Jones, and then Raimann personally but we'll see how their board looks tonight.
I see a lot of people liking Nakobe Dean... But I see a little Darron Lee there - both athletically and statistically. Lee was a beast in college, not so in the NFL. For me, I’d much prefer Leo Chenal who is a tackling machine and a physical brute who will punish ball carriers + proved to be more athletic with combine/pro day #’s than many thought.
I would not be afraid of double dipping. Keep adding the best talent available. I'd partial to Breece Hall, but I would not lose sleep if they drafted a big WR or another Edge on Day 2 if the value is there. If JD thinks there could be another WR run in early Rd 1, I'd entertain a trade down. Our 2nd & 2 4ths for GB's 2 seconds is pretty close value-wise.
Badgers produce some decent LB's and Chenal will get his shot in the nfl. He needs to be taken in rd 6 however and he's getting too much attention imo. Chris Borland was taken in the 3rd round and he was no doubt among the LB GOAT at Wisc. ps: this may be the 2nd time i responded to your posts--im not targeting you--just you pick interesting topics
