Most of the mocks I see have teams trading up to the Giants. It would be cheaper and everyone knows we aren't going to take their QB prospect.
If they don't trade with us then another team like Atlanta or Carolina can. The question is not about the Giants but do the Jets want to trade out and that may be dependent on who is there at pick 4? But, then again if Houston or Detroit want to trade down our wishes become irrelevant. Regardless you know JD has been taking calls and will be prepared with trades in place where he can go in whatever direction he wants when he sees who is there at 4.
You probably saw this? https://www.ganggreennation.com/202...come-an-nfl-draft-trade-partner-with-the-jets
Wild rumor that the Chiefs are looking to trade up into top 10. Maybe even top 5: https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nf...irling-nfl-world-reacts/ar-AAVW9CQ?li=BBnb7Kz Question, would you trade pick 4 for picks 29, 30, and 40 - which is what their floating?
I would not want to trade for 29/30/40 unless they were a stepping stone to another trade that got us into the 15-25 range. I think in this draft 15-25 is the sweet spot.
i'd trade 10 for 29, 30, and 121 that would be fair to me. then we'd have 4, 29, 30, 35, 38, 69, 111, 117, 121, 146, 153 we could use 29 + 69 + 121 to get up to 18 before the big WR rush and grab a top 5 WR that would give us 4, 18, 30 , 35, 38, 111, 117, 146, 153 and we could probably move 35 or 38 for a future 1st or try to get a 4th 1st with 35 + 38 to get a mid 20s 1st and a 3rd back either way right now we have a ton of flexability
Nah, It's hard to imagine they fleece someone In the same way we did them. Even at a more impactful position. It would be foolish for any team to give up that for Metcalf. IMO.
Oh for sure. Totally agree with you, no one is paying that when Tyreek went for a 29 and a 2. I just meant that this is where it always starts. Okay, no one bites at 2 1's? Lets see if we can get a 1st and day2/3 pick. No? Okay just take the first. Seahawks are in trouble cap wise and it would be so dumb to pay DK 20+/year while rebuilding. They have 90m in space next year but only 23 guys on the roster. Adams and Lockett can't be moved either
Cooks is criminally underrated but he's not the type of WR we need. Wouldn't be upset if we could get him for a third and also use 10 on London, but I wouldn't make him our sole WR addition over the next few weeks.
Cooks is such an interesting WR. Always looks pretty good to me, yet teams have no trouble trading him away. Aren't the Texans like his 4th team already? The oddest part is every place he goes, he produces. I agree, a 3rd for him would be great.
