Not that he’d considering coming to the Jets over the Raiders or Giants, but it just figured we miss him by one year.

Or Miami. I can see them making a push for him. Especially since they missed the playoffs this year and their fanbase is pissed about the regression after having 2 firsts and 2 seconds.
Harbaugh is a little bit of a headcase and tough to handle but I wouldn't have turned it down. One funny thing I recall about him was when Mike Ditka benched him in Chicago. Ditka retired and Harbaugh was traded to the Colts in I think '93. Ditka had started announcing games and had to say a few words to Harbaugh on the field on national TV. AWKWARD. "Hey, Coach!" Captain Comeback kept calling him Coach but he wasn't being respectful at all. He was totally busting Ditka's hump. That was when the Colts advanced to the AFCC game in the '95 season. Of course the Jets were winning 24-3 early in the season against them and lost 27-24 in OT (PAIN). Don't shoot me if I'm off on some of it. It's by memory only, but a day without Jets pain is like a day without sunshine. I mean, CMan. Oddly enough Harbaugh could wind up in Chicago (if any of this is true). OK, that was rambling as hell, but that's what I do. Brain gonna brain.
2 NY teams play in the same stadium, both have HC’s who coached for the 49’s and both have a QB named Wilson!! I love it
Remember when the 49ers had to choose btw him and Baalke… and they chose Baalke?!?? He should go to Jax and take over coaching and GM.
IMO that’s something that would turn that franchise around in a heartbeat. They’ve lacked quality leadership since Madden.
The Flores regime probably overachieved all years except this one, which was par for the course. They spent a considerable amount of time dicking around trying to get Watson from Houston, in a stretch where they went 1-7. Brian Flores is a good coach I think. You always take an upgrade when you can but I don't think Miami is going to be Harbaugh's first choice. He can get max money from all those other teams as well.
All the talk from his side right now is preliminary to him re-opening contract talks with Michigan. If they meet his demands he's staying and if not he's probably going to the Raiders with an outside shot at the Giants maybe if they blow him away with a lot of guarantees.
He has history with the Raiders and apparently with Mark Davis the owner. Davis is one of the guys who might give him full control on the football side.
