The majority of shots at Mike have been his weight in this thread, not his football knowledge...

Okay, I don't know what that is, but it doesn't sound very good, and I don't want to see you get time off with the playoffs coming upon us. Just cool it down a little, K-man.

And edit your other posts a bit to tone down the insults to other posters, please. Playoff time, man. Should be all sunshine and lollipops around here.

Russos job is to get under your skin. Mike has never played that game. Mike calls them the way he sees them. In the case of Parcells, I would agree with posters that he does go easy on him.

Is Mike right all the time? Hell no. His take on things is pretty damn good though. I heard the part about the Dallas/Seattle spread...and I have to say, 10pennington10 took it the same way I heard it.

Russo plays his game to get ratings. Mikes take to downplay the Jets isnt about ratings or phone calls. You dont get ratings from phone calls..in fact you get nothing. The reason some of us listen to Beningo isnt because he is great...but because we get our Jet fix. If you want to attack Mike, go after for him for the amount of time he spent on the Jets...TOTALLY agree there.

i think youve seen a few ppl call him a moron, or call him out on his dumbass comments. that seton hall pick will only last so long...the only reason reason he isnt jobless now is because ppl will actually sit an listen to him and russo spout their BS out...i cant understand anyone who could like these 2...must be masochists.

So we're clear, I asked you to edit your posts, and you ignored me. I did it myself.

Not cool. No second chances from this mod.

Mike stated that the Jets have a 20% chance of winning. How does he get that? is there a formula he uses? please tell me, I could go to vegas o it. O and they keep bringing up our weak schedule. If memory serves me correct his boy Parcells lost to the Detroit and the Giants, well, they loose to everybody. Granted, the Jets have issues, their ability to stop the run, throw deep, and have an A type back such as LT or LJ or even tiki that can control the game.

I just think the game is going to be close on Sunday because Mangini knows not only their weeknesses but understands how NE perceives the Jets to be. Also, we have better special teams then NE and a better kicker.

I just hope we do eak out a win on Sunday so I can call on Monday. And I definitely believe we have a better than 20% chance of winning. Mike should just stick to picking movies as he is an expert on that to.

It's his opinion.. He's entitled. I'd say 40% chance, in my mind, but he's a tougher critic, what can I say.. You guys are unbelievable. What do the cowboys have to do with this? Who cares!

He said Parcells has a better shot to win in Seattle than Mangini does in Foxboro. Just his love for Parcells.

I'm trying to figure out what makes that statement "love" for Parcells. The gap between the Jets and Cowboys is much smaller than the gap between the Patriots and Seahawks. Of course the Cowboys have a better chance to beat Seattle than the Jets have to beat the Patriots.

I'm sure everyone ignored him when he said that Mangini is the next "big time" coach in the NFL. :rofl2:

That statement? He preaches Parcells like no one else! Obviously Parcells considered him a friend of the media when most weren't back then and he probably just. I remember reading an article in SI and other sources that claimed that rarely did Parcell's close friends or family refer to him as 'tuna' and only the media does. Francesa for years referred to his 'good buddy' Bill as 'tuna'.

He claims that Parcells called him 1st after arriving from away games to the airport.

Dallas is in a free-fall, a downward spiral, stumbling into the playoffs. Seattle isn't great by any means, but they'll be at home and that is one of the loudest stadiums in football, Dallas' defense is in shambles and Romo has looked pededtrian lately to compound with an average Terrell Owens.

I never said Francesa never gave the Jets credit this year, or deny that he said that about Mangini...But his love towards Parcells is well known and it's OLD.

I'm not saying he doesn't have a friendship with Parcells, everyone knows that. But his statement could have just as easily been said by someone who hates Parcells.

heard Faulk being interviewed by Mike F and he gives the Jets a "very good shot" at winning the game. Of course, Mike moved on quickly to the giants analysis.

The funny part is Mad Dog lost his voice the week we made the playoffs after dumping on us all year. Guarantee if we lose on Sunday he's back Monday and raring to go.
