How does a show call itself Inside the NFL and not show highlights of a playoff clinching game? What a complete joke... I wish the NFL could stop them from using their logo due to incompetence(sp?)...
Why not? The raiders stink. Who wants to see the raiders getting ripped up....okk maybe they should have shown that. but that wasnt a marquee matchup nobody cared about that game except 1/2 NY fans and Oakland fans
I understand it's not a marquee matchup but it's still a game that affected the playoffs... I wonder if the showed the 7 - 8 Giants vs 5 - 10 Redskins...
Since the first Inside the NFL show of this season Costas, Marino, Carter & Collinsworth did say that instead of getting all the highlights from NFL Films, they would be picking the best ones and of course with the side interview from one of the players in the highlight package. Remember when Mawae was facing the Jets in week 1 in Tennesse for the Titans? They interviewed him as the highlight between the Titans and the Jets were going on. This is a very bad decision that they didn't show the Jets taking destiny in their own hands and making the playoffs. Could you imagine if the Jets lost to the Raiders?, then that would have been the story. How they backed into the playoffs as both the Bengals & Jaguars lost as well. They are completly stupid as well as assuming the Jets are not going to make it past the Pats. This is where NFL Films has to take control and inform these four that we are taking the creative control away from you. It's completly mind boggling that these four said no. The Jets are 10-6, they earned being in the playoffs. That is a story when this team was projected to win 2.
Carter picked the Jets to lose in their picks then later in the show said they would pull a Pittsburgh and get to the SB. of course they didn't how Jets highlights but we got to hear about how Tom benson's grand daughter has "earned" her way to the top of the Saints franchise at the age of 29 and they showed highlights of other crappt meaningless games.
