Mims just isn't a route runner. He's not fit for this type of scheme and would suit much better in Pittsburgh with how often they throw go and seam routes down the sideline. Dude can make plays though, so hope he steps up and makes something of his opportunity. Feel like the guy just doesn't fit, he's had a bad year with food poisoning and Covid and just never been able to take a chance this year. Wouldn't be supprised to see him kept next year due to his rookie contract or traded for a 5th or later round draft pick. Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
Its showtime for Mims for the rest of the season. Its also time for Zach to introduce himself to the other Wr's on the roster too. Maybe MLF will come up with an alternative game plan that actually reflects the new reality of the situation. Maybe not.. Here's where OC's earn their salaries. Same for HC's .
So when Mims has a couple 5 catch/60 yard games when 4/5 of the catches come when we’re down 2 scores, is everyone going to say how good he has been the whole time?
I’d like some deep shots to him. See if he can make a play…especially if he’s one on one. I think Zach isn’t there comfortably or moreso this team doesn’t have the players to do this to just throw it to one of their guys and see if they can come down with it.
