A powerful 2-3 (Split with the Jets, beat Bears, lost to Colts and Broncos).

    Don't believe the media hype...

The Jets have more than a puncher's chance next weekend, to use Mangini terminology.

Actually, the Pats were 6-3 against .500 plus teams.

The Jets were 2-4 against .500 plus teams.

Do you guys ever check these facts before you spew them?

I'd be curious where the original poster got his information. Perhaps he meant in the second half of the season?

Must be. The numbers don't add up the other way.

I'm guessing that he is talkin about playoff teams because those are the only +.500 teams he mentioned. He forgot Jax and Cinci.

    NE's schedule
    <.500 Buf W
    >.500 Jets W
    >.500 Den L
    =.500 Cin W
    <.500 Mia W
    <.500 Buf W
    <.500 Min W
    >.500 Ind L
    >.500 Jets L
    =.500 GB W
    >.500 Chi W
    <.500 Det W
    <.500 Mia L
    <.500 Hou W
    =.500 Jac W
    =.500 Ten W

    Their record vs. teams >.500 = 2 and 3.
So JetsFanRI DOES check his facts.

the Pats are 2-3 with with teams WITH records of 9-7 and above which the original poster said
    "above .500"

but if you add the 8-8 teams
    Tenn, GB, Cincy,Jax
they are 6-3? Idont have their sched in front of me

the original poster is not wrong

Yeah, you are right. I made a mistake with my post above because I forgot that Cini and Jax dropped to 8-8.

The title says .500+, insinuating teams that are at LEAST .500, meaning Cincy, Jax, and whatnot are included in lomo's evaluation.

my brother who is a redskins fans laughed because some announcer I forgot who and what station plus I was drunk.
the announcer said "the Jets have only 1 win with a team with an over .500 record"
My brother then said "who have the Jets played with a .500 record? that was the biggest joke schedule ever"
I replied "yep that was easy"
teams 9-7 and above the Jets played
    Pats(2), Bears, Indy
1-3 agianst those boys inst that bad look at most playoff teams they all have losing records agianst teams over .500

And the key is that we played all of them tough, with a realistic shot of winning each them in the 4th

As well as the Cleveland game, which we sent into overtime. Yes, yes, I know...

It's amazing how close this team was at several occasions to an 11-5 or 12-4 record.

only thing that matter now is that we finish off games...i wont be too upset if we play a good game and lose, however i will be pissed if we lose the game in the last second...that would have me pissing and moaning for a good month or so

We have ONE win against .500+ teams, which is better?
