My bad. I didn't catch where CMan tapped out and you tapped in. My apologies. Thought I was talking to CMan.
Cman, there are so many endless excuses regarding this team that I tend to turn them off at this point.
jets had one possession in the 3rd quarter. He played well in the first half and had a bad 4th quarter
Word up. I stopped going after 2016, and the opposing teams fans taking over the stadium started LONG BEFORE that. Long. It's been an issue since the new stadium because A. for the most part the team has sucked with the exception of the year it opened, B. they destroyed their waiting list and took a hot commodity that people couldn't wait to get and reversed it to the point where they almost literally can't give the tickets away which brings me to C. they pushed the good people out of the stadium or all the way upstairs with greed by overcharging them and adding a PSL, the biggest scam perpetrated on the NY fans in the history of sports. When you combine aspects of B. and C. you get people selling their seats to anyone who will take them because they want to recoup some of their money for a terrible product, and who's going to buy those seats? Certainly not Jets fans.
What's the saying "excuses...the leaning Post of fools" TBH Zach had some nice completions and the offense showed sparkle...that came and went Our Defense as a whole has suxed most of the Season..left Phil receivers wide open Someone should be fired ..really
I'd be laughing at him if I weren't a fan of the team as well. The incompetence with this group is so strong that it would be absolutely hilarious if it were happening somewhere else.
Wilson actually looked like a pro QB in he first half. He was poised and confident. When he had to come from behind in the second half is when things fell apart. The defense was the big loser of this game. Those missed EP's hurt psychologically never allowing the Jets to catch up. I'm hoping this season models Eli's career. Eli was atrocious his first year. Yet the Giants benched a HOF QB to give him time to learn. The next season he was 11-5.
Come from behind wins are probably outside Zach's skillset at this point. But if he doesn't get the ball in his hands we'll never know. I said it already... there's not one quarterback in the NFL that could win with our defense. Not one.
I think it was a bad break the Jets had to face Gardner Minshew. They might have done better against Jalen Hurts.
