And you can't judge a team in isolation off a single game. Did the Lions play tough? Sure. They are yet to win a game and this was a big chance for them. It might yet be their only big chance. So of course they played tough. So did the Jets in the games they had a chance to win. None of this masks the fact that the Jets, yet again, suck. Whether they suck the most is irrelevant really. What matters is how the young players develop throughout the rest of the year and whether there is hope for them not to suck so much next year.
the difference is we have young good players. the lions don't really. they are how we were like 2 years ago
Ehhhh This is like a 5'8" 350 lb person calling a 5'9" 380lb person Fat.... Lions: RB-Swift LT- Sewell C-Ragnow RT-Decker TE-Hockenson CB-Akudah Jets: RB- Mike Carter LT-Becton LG- AVT QB- ZW DT-Q. Williams WR- Moore Don't fool yourself...
i'm not. we have a young QB. they don't there gonna draft one this year in a worse QB class. ragnow is possibly the best C in the league and sewell has been great too but they still need help at the o-line way more then we do. I love swift but i feel carter is as good so thats a wash. hockenson is way better then anything we have at TE but hall is way outplaying akudah and you didn't even list hall. we also have more money and way more draft picks then them. They have nothing at WR either well we have moore, davis, crowder and cole. plus mims berrios and smith. lions have a lot of rebuilding to do. more then us. with less resources. and they are missing key pieces like a QB
the Lions are doing it better though. They got a good staff, and they aren't cutting corners. They took a flier on Goff because they were rewarded handsomely for it and its causing them to lose games in 2021. But they aren't doing anything stupid like rushing an unprepared rookie QB out there or trading for a Joe Flacco so they can lose 24-17 and feel better about themselves. Jags are being dumb/a circus with Meyer, Jets are being dumb as well. Houston just got fucked by their QB
