At this point, I would have to say No he is not. her is what i posted in the Falco thread: I stop listening to the HC pressers weeks ago when the same excuses were used for another bad performance. IMHO, an I wanted him, he is fast, as in very fast, becoming the latest example of coaches who fit the mold of "Peter's Principle."
Whenever he says that they had a great week of practice and that the players look good in practice, I really want one of the journalists there to pose the question "Do you think they might look good in practice because they're practicing against.... the New York Jets?"
No Joe, not blind at all - but I have to inform you that regardless of your practices regarding me, I don't look for your posts and only rarely come across them by accident. Yeah, I know - sucks for me. But you're one of the lucky ones, I guess - all those poor guys who you claim have me on ignore are missing my informed insight and words of wisdom. Oh, well - they are free to wallow in ignorance for all their days. It's no surprise that you amuse yourself with this - misery loves company.
I'm a firm no. I understand that he is a rookie head coach, but if you are unable to implement a stable defense on the team that you coach, when your former job was defensive coordinator, you are in over your head. There is no way that he should be failing in the responsibilities in the area that he previously mastered unless the total responsibilities of the head coach role was simply too much for him to handle.
He looks like Xerxes and I may have been too scared to finish that 300 movie when I was a kid but I can tell that xerxes dude wasn’t gonna be beat EVER , his warriors always had good practices and I’m sure they translated to many victories. riding with xerxes
At the very least, You'd see me raising holy hell after getting my ass historically kicked. I think Saleh is TOO NICE and needs to drop the hammer on his roster and his staff. No more participation trophys. Accountability needs to apply to the entire organization, not just the players. I know MLF is the brother of his best bud, but this is business. This OJT shit has run its course now and its time for results, not excuses. Time to shit or get off the pot for this entire organization.
LOL Thanks, I think. I can't speak about what kind of job CMan would do as GM, but I'd be the biggest disaster of all as HC. I'd be a better GM than HC, because at least I think I have a good eye for talent, but would probably get raped in trades, and negotiating contracts, so wouldn't even make a good GM.
Still at the middle school level of name calling I see, Joe. And you certainly repeated the earlier claim when you included the quote in your post.
Read it again - "woe" is the guy who ignores what I have to say, not me. How will those guys ever learn anything?
Agree and I'll add (I just listen to HC presser today- I know I said i wouldn't but...) HC states falco will come in and practice Frid. He is not coming till Friday for personal reasons...Maybe JF doesn't want to come back to another loser HC and team, and I would not blame him. Q: will he be inactive for Sundays game. A: Yes, Josh will be back-up. 2nd Q about JF status: When Wilson comes back... what the reported stated was - and this is great - you quite possibly gave up a draft pick for a one day rental - time that Falco could be used. The the HC looks like a deer in the head lights and proceeds to contradict himself by saying well it will be day to day - that is, JF status. I don't know about anyone else but I have seen enough to know when a coach is bad. Indeed, the last time a Jets team gave up 50 pts was Rich K 1995... think about that ineptitude and consider how this team looks unprepared. He is as bad as AG who at least had his team score on the 1st drive of games... Finally, you can Harangue me or the following decision, I do not care because I am officially off the RS and this CS train. After todays comments and another Todd Bowles presser, I am convinced he not the man for the job. He seems clueless and based on what I saw he is not sure what he should do...and that my friends is why this team is in disarray and dysfunctional at this point in time.
Seems to me the Team has adapted the demeanor of the Head Coach. All is well, we can fix everything in a week, don't worry we got this.. etc.. No fire. No emotion. just a flat line.
I don't know if he is the right man for the job, but I do know that Adam Gase was not. Definitely worth giving Robert Saleh a chance.
I can't get past him continuing to think that there does not need to be any fiery exchanges, yelling, kicks in the ass, etc. to motivate a team that looks lifeless because they're "grown men." Every successful organization, football, corporate and other have some level of accountability and discipline for poor performances.
Was this question being asked after the Titans game? I agree the past two games have been lackluster, to say the absolute least, but I’m not there yet to say this isn’t the right coach. Although, with how jaded I am these days with this team, I don’t know if we’ll ever have the right coach. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
