Draft another QB and let Wilson and the other dude battle it out. May the best man win. iron sharpens iron. It’s the most important position in sports-why not? Keep drafting one until you find an answer.
Obviously I don't know you, but pretty clear you never wanted Wilson in the first place and it effects your mind to the point where you say he misses wide open receivers when in fact the receiver fell down.
It doesn’t seem to matter who we draft/bring in. There’s something missing from the core of this organization.
The johnsons every 2-3 years… “we hired these carpenters to fix the roof. They will not have a hammer, saw, or any nails. “
Except if they did their due diligence, they would have realized that they actually hired a plumber to fix the roof. And they still didn't give him a hammer, saw, or any nails.
Doesn’t matter. Zach Wilson’s career may have ended today. He tore up his knee and is likely done for the season. That means he’s essentially a rookie next year in a make or break season in 2022. Hedge your bets. He’s too small and fragile for this league IMO. I think he’s done.
Yup, it's the best example of an institutional problem I've seen in sports. The hard part is figuring out how to get out of it. But right now this team expects to be losers and the owners definitely don't care.
Cant even figure out who to blame anymore…coach, assistants, qb, offensive line, this is just a cluster-Ef of epic proportions.
Not for nothing, but this "blame Wilson" shit is getting really annoying. Wilson was actually looking good before going down with an injury. I swear, this forum sometimes.... Lol
He DOES miss open receivers. Yeah I've seen guys fall down a lot for some reason but Zach also throws directly into the ground quite a few times
Wilson sucks, Saleh sucks, the Jets roster sucks, Justin Fields also sucks, and so does the Jets entire organization. It's not one or another. It's all of the above.
I agree, he has missed a lot of easy passes.. but I am referring to a specific post about a specific play during today's game written by the OP
A lot of you guys have given me grief about how hard I've been on Wilson--but there's no way you give up on him this early. We are invested in him for at least 2-3 years right now to see if he can develop into something. You would give up on him if there was a guy like Trevor Lawrence available, which there isn't one of those guys hanging on trees. A basic lock coming out of college to go to the HOF. Maybe Arch Manning? He's still in highschool. We made our bed the day we senselessly beat the Rams last year--everything you see unraveling now I suffered with as Frank Gore crossed that first down marker. We could have gotten a better coach, better staff, better everything if we landed a generational QB Wilson has 2-3 years to show he's at least Alex Smith--
