    New season, new thread!

Some interesting teams in the East. Bucks definitely can repeat, Nets want to buy a ring, Celtics have a much better roster then last year, Hawks can really be good, 76ers in disarray, Knicks are improved.

Will Kyrie get his covid shot, or just try to sage his problems away? I think he will use this to get 2-3 months PTO then come back like he's some hero.

What does Hawks can really need good mean? My head hurts from that one.

Kyrie's such a dumbfuck. I love how Andrew Wiggins tried to get a religious exemption for the vaccine. They generally can't ask too many questions if you play that card even though he lost the battle.

I'm pumped for the Spurs this year. Manu is back in the building and if my hunch years ago holds true, he will end up being the heir apparent to Pop.

This is a young and extremely athletic team but I'm not fooling myself, they'll all be in foul trouble by halftime against the Lakers.

The Bucks improved their depth this offseason--Grayson Allen was nice pickup--he may start over DiVencenzo; got back George Hill and re-signed Bobby Portis. Also their draft pick from 2-years ago Nwora has a nice stroke and should get more minutes.

Grayson was a sneaky good pickup, gives the Bucks guard depth, and a guy who can make open shots and has some dribble drive to his game. He should get a ton of good looks.

I’m over Kyrie, love the guy but just get the shot smh. Wiggins smartened you and realize sitting out to lose 10+ mill over a shot isn’t worth it. This Nets squad has what it takes to be championship material, like don’t waste KD/Harden smh.

Kyrie seems to wear out his welcome pretty much everywhere he has gone. Guy is the biggest POS in sports today without a doubt. I read, or maybe heard on WFAN that Kyrie told the Nets if they were to trade him he'd retire.. completely ruining any value while he takes PTO and gets pissed when people ask about it. Great employee.

He's always been an ass hole. I remember he was doing a pre draft interview on ESPN and he came off as a smug d bag at 19. Really thinks he always the smartest guy in the room.

Good for the Nets for having enough of Kyrie's shit, like every other team he's played for.

Its not always sunny in Philly

They are cooked with Simmons issue . Not sure whether the term gardening leave is used in USA

    gardening leave
    Learn to pronounce

    noun
    BRITISH
    1. an employee's suspension from work on full pay for the duration of a notice period, typically to prevent them from having any further influence on the organization or from accessing confidential information.

Simmons in the building will be so toxic . Got a game suspension for his behaviour being detrimental to the team.( not following coaches orders in practice)
Not sure he has to attend the game in NO. Will he be allowed on the plane? He is a pariah now .
Who will blink first ? This will end up in some legal fight if Simmonds is not paid
Simmonds manager should concentrate on his client and not on screwing the new improved Adele ( can I say that?) will be shocked if he plays for Australia again . There is no I in team.

Listening to the Garden last night, they were acting like they won a playoff game.

Now listening to Craig Carton, it seems like he feels they won a playoff game.

Your a Jets fan. You know what it's like to suck for years and get a little small satisfaction over meaningless wins. I don't know about you but I felt like the Titans win was a playoff game for the Jets.

Have you ever been to the Garden? I went to some Utah/Duke game like 5 years ago in one of those irrelevant tournaments to start the year and it felt like game 7.

Unfortunately not. Thinking about it, I may have went to a rangers game extremely young (4-5).. but I most likely saw them in Hartford as I went to see The Whale play several times with my father.

Gonna guess that's probably not the first time that strategy has been considered.
