You mean you can't find the details of the policy? That doesn't surprise me. It's a private contract.
I mean if he ever won his suit after being legally fleeced. The guy is limping, sure, we'll insure you, ow, I'm a cripple, I showed up a cripple, goodbye and good luck.
Aside from the deal for second, I’ve grown to like DJ as the new Jets beat reporter. Very knowledgeable about the game and asks some good XO questions that makes Saleh second guess giving him the good answers. And he’s a Dolphins fan but he’s really grown to be just a GOOD reporter, despite his fandom. Back to JFM though, the Jets really took him in initially and he was already trending upward as a player. The new scheme has continued his development, I’m not surprised by him signing a long term deal here…bit of loyalty shown on both sides.

Austin) Hodge, Khadarel (WR - Prairie View) . . . "
The week that we find out Maye has withheld from the team the news about his accident and subsequent arrest, JFM gets signed so fast it gives us whiplash. Maybe Maye get-re-signed by the Jets for cheaper (doubt it) during the offseason but have no doubt, JFM got his payday early because of how that Maye situation happened.
I absolutely love this move, and the timing of it. Getting JFM 4 years $13.75 per year is phenomenal. I wanted to do it in the off-season but I understand wanting to see him in the new scheme first.
In a year or two this should be a complete bargain. JFM is playing really well and keeps on improving. Should be able to play all four years at a high level. Second point is the new cap has not been announced yet for next year and it's expected to be a decent sized increase, which should soon see a top 20 paid player soon slide to top 30/40 in the next few years. Great for both sides and we can finally stop saying that JD doesn't retain players. Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
I love this signing, kid is growing leaps and bounds in this system and proving himself to be a great example to the other young players on this team. I’m sure the other young players will take notice that they will be taken care of when the time comes for them as long as they live up to their end of the bargain on and off the field.
I think the point was that JFM wasn’t really a “home grown” player in that we didn’t draft him, the Rams did … we picked him up on waivers. so this signing, while a great move, doesn’t fit the narrative of “changing the culture and signing our own drafted and developed players” still, a great signing that I also think will look like a bargain in a year or two…edge rushers get PAID, so if he continues to play well, it’ll be a bargain. I do think it’s a great move, and I agree that I’d like to see Fat resigned, Quincy a Williams resigned if he co tiniest o play like he has…we have a young and hungry defense so far…love to see it. I think they have played better than expected with all the youth….would have loved to see what our pass rush looked like with Lawson here along with this DL.
Big physical defensive end with a great first step. Great re-signing and hedging that his best football is ahead of him. JFM does more than just play his position too and rush the passer. He's a space filler that helps his teammates next to him and the linebackers in the run game. Now bring on the weird back injury that puts him out two weeks that turns into the rest of the year!
It does fit the narrative. Picking up a guy off of waivers after his rookie season, 2+ years developed, and then giving an extension. You don’t have to draft a player for it to be home grown.
