I don't understand much this announcer said in Spanish but he makes the Jet win seem so epic. I love the celebrations.
I've always loved the intense exuberance of the Spanish announcers after a soccer GOAL, so nice to hear that same ultimate celebratory call for our New York Jets.
Refs missed a blatant block in the back on the 3rd and 21 screen and hosed us on the 4th down PI in the 4th quarter. The Jets D played well enough yesterday to keep us in the game.
Emphasis! Those boys are ALWAYS on the field. I felt good when we won the OT toss and then held the ball a while in order for the defense to get their longest breather of the entire day - including halftime, where despite the 12 minutes, they have to use energy running into and out the locker room. I think that rest was a key to the victory. Our offense can't depend on Zach pulling broken plays out of his ass.
I thought the CB was unlucky with the PI, it looked a great move to my eye, diving in and knocking the ball away, it would seem once again I know fuck all about some of the boring intricacies on D
I thought normally that would be a non call. The contact was so close to the ball arriving and from my recollection the safety was in good position to make a play on the ball. I would like to see a better replay. Normally if it's a bang bang play and not blatant it is a non call.
To the untrained eye, the defence has looked good this year. It seemed to improve when they had to replace Becton.
