I’ve been saying it all season in every thread. This has not been a talent issue. JD did his job.

 

Q & Q2, the backbone of this Jets D.

 

Davis was decent. He was in on a rotation at safety with Neasman and Wilson (felt Wilson played the best) but Saleh had him on a pitch count since he hasn’t played since December

 

Today’s not that day for me tm bash JD as his guys played well, hopefully they continue upward throughout the year.

 

One game... This is only one game. 13 more to play. Lets temper the expectations and watch what happens the rest of the season. Maybe years 3 or 4 will be when JD's DP's come into their own. Maybe not. Time will tell.

 

Talk about irrational! The kid just got here and is still learning the D and you're criticizing him for mistakes and expecting complete games from him? Tsk!

 

In his third season that’s all you got?
JD has been terrible, the record and product on the field speaks for itself.

 

Last years draft looking terrible.
I have a lot of hope for this years developing in time tho, so that’s progress.

FA has been even worse.
In year 4, next season, JD has to start moving faster.
You don’t get that much time to tear down, and a complete tear down wasn’t even necessary. It’s beyond time to build up before he ruins his second QB here.

 

Quincy really flies around. I was very impressed with his effort. I wonder why the Jaguars cut him? Even if they did not think he is great, he is clearly a solid depth player at least.

 

Luckily linebacker is the one position where you can fly around and make mistakes and usually still make a play after the mistake is already made.

I'm interested to see more. Is this dude reinvigorated by playing with his brother? This is his third year in the league and I personally don't really see how anyone let a player who flies around like he did yesterday off of their roster (even if he's just a special teams ace).

 

Guys rarely get that third year of evaluation they used to anymore if they are injury prone.

Next year is JDs third offseason. Year 3. He didn’t even build the team his first year w Gase lol

 

The first brothers to both score sacks in the same game on the same team since sacks were recorded as an official stat in 1982.
