Saleh walks around like some kind of tough guy, then talks like a pussy at the presser. Call the players out that deserve it. Make it clear that these types of performances are unacceptable. Right now I’m getting a Kotite vibe from him.

A common theme with me, I'm still high on Saleh but boy has the luster worn off quickly...guessing no more stand ovations at the Knicks/Islander games for a while...I get his tone/tenor and answers to the media trying to down play things after only three games...I like his "I believe in teaching not butt chewings" mantra...I also like his energy and his mannerisms that seem to indicate leadership capability but, staring at 0-4, here as some problems he needs to address and quickly:

    1) His team has looked unprepared/unresponsive in 8 of the 12 quarters of football they've played

    2) His offense is on track to be historically bad (there's a familiar theme), possibly get the rookie QB killed or David Carr'ed and literally looks as outmatched as any game under the Gase era (fascinating dynamic to deal with there since Mike Lafleur's his best friend...better hope the younger Lafleur figures this out and quick)...Looking like a mistake to have a totally unproven CS in place with no in house vet playing the role of the Oracle...thinking they may at least have to bring in an offensive "auditor" to assist/improve their current processes

    3) I think I remember Connor Hughes being asked in pre-season how he thought Saleh was doing and he had a great answer...he said I don't know, I'll let you know in week 4 as he said all the mantra/coach speak/media presence/CEO approach and laid back training camp (no gassers, no yelling etc...) sounded good but if the team came out unprepared, didn't compete and looked lost then all of the former is just a bunch of nonsense....hell if we're not there yet

    4) He's got to absolutely stop with the whole "great week of practice" bs...just stop...no one cares! Honestly, it's a little Rich Kotite-esqe....I get why he wants to praise the players in public or at least not burn them in public, but drop that phrase for it not, he'll start to sound like a complete idiot that either is in denial or someone that's completely in over his head

    5) Unfortunately for Saleh, he's owning the last decade of frustration for all of us and the lack of success for the Jets...but it's probably just as much due to all of the hopes we put into him because our leader (JD) hand picked him...and, like JD, Saleh was universally praised as a hire....And honestly, if it doesn't work out, I'm completely out of answers on how or if this will ever work for the Jets...I guess at some point even blind luck means you have to be right sometime, but I don't have 20yrs in me for that...To sum it all up, even the freaking Browns have turned it around...ugh-sigh-damn it

Couldn't agree more... esp #1 and 5. Get the team ready to play and stop the BS... because very soon and I mean very soon, a lot of us are going to get off at the next stop.
