It's going to be all about O line and D line play on both teams. I think Jets D line is going to dominate Panthers O line so the question will be can the contain McCaffery. Panthers D line is also good and I expect them to have some success against Jets O line but not to the level the Jets D line will have and that will be the difference in the game. I expect a Jet win by a TD
I think we need to file a Missing Person's report on Adam Gase. Perhaps some deranged Jet fan (DWC?) may have buried Gase's body in concrete on some lonely infrastructure project.
I just don’t think the Jets defense can stop a nosebleed to paraphrase Bart Scott. I see CMac going wild and a couple of deep balls to Robby that let’s the Panthers score over 30. Panthers 31 Jets 13
I predict that Sam Darnold will complete a pass to Dan Arnold and the dumb broadcasting crew will talk about how they screwed up the call for 20 minutes.
Keelan Cole officially inactive, it's a chance for Mims to stake a claim for a starting job going forward. Really hoping he comes good.
Its a beautiful day for some football. Really feels like winning will come down to Q and the guys in the middle. Carolina's interior O line is a weakness. If we can get a good push Sam will get rattled and turn into the Sam we all know. If not, I have fears for our defense. Hopefully Q isn't too rusty. On offense it will be nice to finally move the ball and score TDs without feeling like it took a miracle. I think our o-line will dictate how much success we have. If Wilson hits a big one to Moore its going to be a very good feeling. At last we get to see what we got. Go Jets!
Just saw that Deonte Brown is officially out. The panthers should be starting two backup guards. Lookout Sam!
Game thread now open. Let's continue there https://forums.theganggreen.com/threads/2021-nfl-season-week-1-jets-at-carolina.96193/
I will not be discouraged by this loss. We were watchable and cohesive. A big improvement over last year.
