The conversation will be had no matter what, If you can isolate It to one thread, that at least gives It isolation for those that don't want to hear this type of conversation on a normal basis. This topic Is inevitable though. They are linked, you can't get around that. Nobody can. It's the nature of the beast when you have such a high draft pick and you have that many options to pick from. Can't avoid It, It has validity moving forward, we just got to hope we are on the right side of It. Otherwise, It's fair to be upset, again, for another missed opportunity. In a long line of missed opportunities. This way, If you, or anyone else don't like that level of passion within a topic as such. You simply don't have to invest In the thread about It. Lawrence is linked with the rest of the group IMO. They will all forever be linked like the 83 & 04 class. This is a good group.

Watching Mond right now. Pretty impressive. 3 practices 3 drives 3 scores - almost. The WR dropped a TD on 4th and goal which was fit into a very tight window. Still drove them down to the 2 yard line.
Yeah, that is fair. Like I said, I feel it is more an NFL Forum thread, than a Jets Forum thread. It will be filled with arguments and posters being rude to each other, but you are right: some people will enjoy it. I enjoy talking about Lawrence, Wilson and Fields. Still don't know much about Lance, and still not a fan of Jones. What I don't enjoy is someone talking about Lawrence, Fields, Lance, or Jones' successes, in a way to try to put down Wilson or second guess the Jets' pick, which will inevitably happen in a thread like this. But you are right, if you don't want to read or post in the thread, just avoid it. Unfortunately, I feel like I have to keep doing that with a few threads these days!

Right.. However.. It's hard to actually make that argument If Wilson Is showing he belongs and lives up to the expectations he naturally has on him. To be a FQB for a winning franchise. So, unless Wilson Isn't actually showing he belongs, there really shouldn't be anything to worry a whole lot about that way.
Why can’t we second guess? Is that part of being a fan and the fabric message boards were created from? We second guess the owner, GMs, HCs, OCs…you name it. That the way it is and always will be.

But the problem is that far too many guys can't just talk about a single guy and his own accomplishments or failings without comparing him to everybody he was drafted with or has ever thrown a ball in the NFL - Hall of Famer or bum of the month.
