Yup! Hughes was talking about how well Saleh has been managing the injuries and intensity. Everyday following a padded practice is a walkthrough with no pads. Constant rest on the body.
Today's practice should be exciting. We get pads on a pretty hot day. The last practice before the 1st pre-season game. After today we have a lot to look forward too. The Giants game, then 2 joint practices against GB which should be more informative than the actual game. We will be in Carolina before you know it. This should be a really exciting year.
Well, it's more than that, but it's pretty obvious at this point. If I had to guess, I'd say Giants fan.
Except they actually back up their takes with film or advanced statistics instead of spewing sensationalist garbage.
If Austin is impressing, then that’s great news for our defense. Coming in I thought he might be the weakest link.
Totally agree. I came into TC thinking that our secondary would be by far our weakest link but so far our young CB's have really impressed me. I'll be watching them closely during these preseason games to see how they match up in live games. I still think they'll be our weakest link but I think they can be serviceable with the guys we have in front of them.
Simply because of an improved pass rush the CBs should look a lot better than last year. Add in Joyner and Maye as safeties along with improvements by Hall, Bless, Guidry, and the rookies in Carter, Pinnock, Eichols and Dunn in our pass coverage could be pretty good.
I was comfortable w/ Hall and our safeties. Austin & whoever would play nickel we’re my 2 worry spots.
I mean, it's also possible that they're just reporting on the days action meanwhile being apart of the media. Which means everything is sensationalized down to new ice cream flavors that could break the internet. I didn't know anyone valued his opinion.
Getting a little concerned with Vera Tucker. Pec injuries (tears anyway) can mean season ending. I hope they are just being cautious.
