or maybe it's missed by some due to the large amounts of trolling which the whole point of trolling. to drown out people with reasonable opinions. it's also a plea for others to be mature instead of trolling back. I let it go. I trolled for 1 day and the trolls threw a fit and cried about it. I made my point. added them to ignore and the board has been much better for me. so telling others to do the same is reasonable conversation. what have you done to improve the board? your conversation right now isn't helping is it?
Well, that is only in your own opinion tbf, an opinion you are free to have but it doesn't make you right, a continuation to proclaim it as right is just as bad as the Fields/Wilson #2 argument especially after the event and when 4 of the QB's went before pick 15 and not in third round which was a grade you had given them or some of them. But ultimately all I was saying is you lambast one side of the silliness only, when like you have said above it came from both sets of differing supporters. It is a time a line was drawn underneath the incidents and for us to move on, Gased and Confused has used the block facility as he is entitled to do but I feel that outside of these incidents the accused are decent posters but I don't want to be accused of reputising them.

My conversation with you today and yesterday was to stop you calling people trolls in every post, citing the reason that it isn't helpful to the situation at hand, I said it was only likely to poke the bear into being angry and then responding, prolonging the situation and again rather like this conversation, it is going on and on and on and on, there isn't any need, I said my piece, politely and respectfully and with what I thought was a reasonable and valid request for this subject to be brought to an end and the board to return to normal, not sure how that wasn't trying to help. ps good to see you admit to the bit of trolling you engaged in, like I have said all along the trolling was from both sides.

yeah that's right thanks for refreshing my memory, K'OB. I forgot that his student loans or something were the crux of his begging. anyway, yeah he was exposed as a fraud. Some people around here did some digging, checked his social media, linkedin, etc. and caught him in quite a few lies and ways he misled people in his initial "feel sorry for me and give me money on gofundme" post...they called him out on it...and like Keyser Soze he disappeared forever from TGG and tried to scrub all of his social media to cover his tracks, etc. hasn't been back since....lol.

I've tried reasoning with some people via PM and publicly only to be ignored. it's clear what a few people are doing but what you are doing here is in a sense "victim shaming" instead of telling the attackers to cut it off, your telling the defenders to because the attackers are a lost cause and beyond reason. Thats why I didn't see it as helping. You could try to reason with the "aggressors" that could help but I got nowhere with it so the best cause of helping IMHO is telling the defenders to just put the attackers on ignore. If people just tok my advice, we wouldn't be having this conversation and we would have no issues on the board edit: and yes I did troll for 1 day to prove a point. I never said otherwise. then I dropped it when the point was proven. and even apologized to brook via PM for making his job harder. Others have been trolling for 2 months straight and getting a kick out of riling up a few people for whatever reason

I think the simplest part of my suggestion was to just stop mentioning trolls and that you have them on ignore, people got you after the first time they read it, that was my point, I also said that it was pathetic from both sides, you then admitted to doing a spot of trolling yourself so go figure. no there wasn't there was a group of people discussing QBs. most preferred wilson some preferred fields. then the few who preferred fields started trolling anyone who preferred wilson. for weeks and ramped it up the more obvious it became we were taking wilson. then we took wilson, they continued on. some people got fed up and starting trolling back turning it into the gif wars. some people like myself tried reasoning with everyone. The mods PM'd some of the people trolling to ask them to stop. which they ignored the mods. I tried to reason with them, they ignored it. mods did, they ignored it. I trolled them back for 1 day (huge difference then 2 months) to prove a point. they had a fit but it still didn't deter them. So i added them to ignore and have advised others to do the same. not sure what else I can try as a reasonable person. but for you to jump in and make it sound like 2 groups of people going at each other is what has happened is very false because you clearly aren't aware of whats been going on for 2 months now as far as the 2 users you mention I liked them to until they acted the way the did, refused to listen to reason and treated the whole forums very poorly for a span of 2 months and counting, and they ignored mods PMs and everything. So I lost respect for them. ignoring isn't a permanent thing. it can be undone. why don't you ask them to knock it off since they've been doing it for months instead of going after the people they have been attacking. all you are doing here is looking bias towards your friends who have been behaving badly. and as they say "birds of a feather" and all. and no the 3rd one wasn't kurt. but i guarantee their behavior over the past 2 months have ran off new posters which right now the jets probably have some new people coming back to talk after the gase years, which hurts the board and doesn't help it
