Why can't we ever have nice things? This is the kind of injury that will take him all training camp to recover from with most likely limited reps. That Rankins signing looks pretty good right now.
Happened at the facility which means he was there in-person while a ton of players are refusing to participate around the league. That's comforting at least. Maybe? I dunno, trying to find a silver lining.
It really sucks because he is a better player when he's not fat & out of shape. Being laid up all offseason with a broken foot ensures he is going to show up out of shape.
i gotta give it to you broadwaysam u do a good job breaking news on the board! you posted this right after pelissero tweeted it out. good job!
We do have a lot of depth at DT with Fatukasi, Rankins, JFM and even Sheperd. Hopefully Q will be ready to go for the season but or DL is better equipped to handle injuries.
By all accounts it sounds like he'll be ready for the season, but at what speed? If his first field action is training camp then there's no way he's going to be a full go right off the bat. Is there even a preseason this year? I sure hope so. Q is gonna need game reps, it's not like "conditioning" for a DL is what conditioning is for a WR or RB.
My guess is he’ll be doing a lot of biking for the next month or so and then pool work to keep his cardio up. He’ll still be able to lift. Not worried about this at all.
How certain are they that he can recover fully from this type of injury? There's a lot of little bones and moving parts in a foot, so are they confident they can repair it 100%?
