No, it won’t because most of the Wilson guys wouldn’t mind Fields. That’s just not reciprocated by Fields’ supporters.

I think he was the guy that the scouts wanted but not Shanahan. I bet the owner stepped in and said we're getting absolutely destroyed by our fan base and made the final decision. But you never know, they could still go Jones. I would go Lance & keep Jimmy G around until he gets hurt which will be sometime soon. I think though, Green Bay should really listen to SF's offer if they don't plan on extending Rodgers. It could be they take Lance and trade him plus picks & Garropolo to GB for Rodgers. Let's face it, SF is built to win now. Trey Lance doesn't fit that timeline.
The fact is we are off YOUR plan. Like I said in my previous post, there is more than one way to build a championship roster. Hitting on QB at #2 could go a long way to building that championship roster. Hitting on a few of the remaining 9 premium picks we have this year and next will help. I get that JD isn’t building the team according to the plan you prefer but it does appear that he has a plan and if nothing else that is promising. He has to hit on some, if not most, of these picks before we’re where we all want this team to be but he’s got the franchise in the best spot we’ve been in over a decade.
