Doesn't sound anything like a WCO. Has Wilson played in a system that will translate easily to a WCO or is he going to be the victim of repeated sharking safety attacks over the middle? The USC system at least theoretically sets its QB's up to play in a WCO at the next level.
Other than his aversion to throwing the ball in the middle of the field I do think he’s a good fit. Truth be told any QB is a good fit for Shanahan’s offense. I just don’t think he will get away with a lot of the throws he attempted this past season. So it will be interesting his adaptability. If he ends up unable to make the similar WOW plays in the NFL, then is he worth drafting 2nd overall?

Brutal, just brutal. He thinks Fields is #6 QB in the draft, his throwing motion, mechanics scare him. He thinks Fields needs a year of seasoning before he can play, and thinks some teams who need a QB like Chicago would not want to spend 1st rounder on someone who cannot contribute this year. I think they will and he goes top 10, maybe even top 5. But yeah, his evaluation of Fields is not very favorable: mid-late first round, not top 5-10 talent. Basically I heard his take, and it is like that: Two top 5 guys (Zach, Trevor), One top 10-15 talent (Mac Jones), Three mid-late first round (Mond, Lance, Fields)

Thanks for summarizing. I have developed a fairly large amount of mistrust as to what all these experts say about a QB. Seems in the end to be a big crap shot as to how college translates to the NFL in an individual basis. There are as many hit as misses no matter who the expert analyst is.
I was actually going to say he might decide to run away rather than throw it but I didn’t want to rag on him for something he’s actually good at.
After less than a minute I wanted to put a fist through his mouth and that was just for all the name shite he was wittering on about, oh and the false excitement as he gets his voice to inflect at the end of a sentence. I ain't watching 1 hour 40 minutes of that.
