I've done a lot of research on this because I used to favor Fields over Wilson, it's just not true. It's a bit more pro-style than when Haskins was there but the meat and potatoes of the offense are similar.
It wasn’t a discussion. You responded to a post of mine with what the scouts say. How is that a discussion? If you provide me with your thoughts, I will respond to that. I’d argue that super stack roster won the SuperBowl. But let’s follow this thread. What was your take away from Brady winning the SuperBowl as it relates to drafting a QB this year? Should we draft Mac Jones?
Easily, since BYU's OL wasn't nearly as good a you're trying to make it, and OSU had one of, if not the top OL in college football.
i've provided my thoughts and your responses are lacking so whats the point. you don't discus anything. it's always 1 line about how "shut up, i'm leglar82, i'm always right, i won't explain why, just accept it and agree"
Not political bullshit, facts. You stated he had two surgeries in his throwing shoulder and one in his non throwing shoulder. That's blatantly false. He had one surgery in his throwing shoulder and a small hand injury. Fuck the doctors who advised that he is "100% healed" and it should be of no concern to the NFL team who drafts him. And fuck the fact that he played an entire season and looked amazing all year after the surgery
The quality of the line does not matter. That is just a red herring where he is trying to trick people from looking at the actual statistics which compare performance in a similar equal context. We are at looking at what the QB does once pressured. All pressures here should be considered equal. Under pressure Fields runs more, takes twice the sacks, when he throws holds it longer and ends up only throwing the ball less than 60 percent of the time.
He knows how to slide and does. He just gets too aggressive at times and tries to hurdle defenders or use his throwing shoulder as a battering ram. I pointed that out very early. He will stop doing that in the NFL.
Either way you're consistently failing to recognize the difference between raw number stats and stats that look at what a QB does % wise when pressured. The number of raw pressures is irrelevant. We're looking at what QB's do per pressure.
I guess it really upsets you that Zach Wilson will be the next Jets QB LOL Or was it that you were spreading wrong information about his injuries?
When you hold the ball so long that your top OL starts crumbling, and you don't feel the pressure until too late or almost too late, then you're holding the ball too long. Fields took a lot of unnecessary sacks becasue he didn't sense the pressure. At other times, he'd take off running rather than rolling out and still looking downfield.
I just know University of Texas San Antonio pressure is different from Alabama pressure but I admit I’m a biased.
Lmao he's been having a prolonged hysterical meltdown for weeks. Hey, at least he'll be quitting as a fan if Wilson is the pick, as he has stated many times. Or was that just another emotional meltdown?
