Did you think so? I thought he was still kind of knocking Fields, while at the same time saying he loves him. You used the word "refreshing" before regarding TLaw's comments about not being overly hyped about playing football. What would be really refreshing if these analysts - especially the tv ones who are told to not be too controversial I'm sure - would just say what they think without trying to be P.C., or even admit when maybe they're not completely sure. Yeah, I know, never gonna happen.
I'm with you - I'm not a big fan of futures bets either. Hate the idea of waiting but it worked out for me with Baylor after the entire country fell in love with the Gonzaga train pushing them to like +350 after the first round. Might bet the Avs at +350 to win the cup. They're too damn good.
He clearly doesn’t love him and continues to have issues with his throwing motion. However, he acknowledge that he has “superstar” potential. Forgive me for wanting the potential superstar.
I can forgive you, but I'm not sure Our Lord and Savior Simms will. Say two Our Father Phils, and three Hail Dianas (Chris's mother), and maybe you can escape eternal damnation.
As NFLN is trying to rationalize Fields falling to 24 on Casserly’s latest mock, the following graphic comes up:
Well we've clearly entered the "shark feeding frenzy" phase of draft season where all the sports media is grasping at anything to increase viewers and clicks, divorced from any facts or reality. It really is time to head to the bunker for two weeks.
The real question is whether or not he's really sliding - where does he actually go on the 27th. Draft run-up media sliding due to active manipulation by teams behind the scenes in order to smoke screen or improve their hand is an evil, evil game.
Right. SF almost won the SB a year ago and have been running their offense for how many years? The Jets have been in the toilet bowl for the last 5 years or so and haven't even started learning the offense yet. Real fair comparison! SMH
Excuses. This is the NFL. Teams go from worse to first all the time. Plus I wasn’t planning on comparing wins and losses but individual play. I think we are all knowledgeable enough to compare players beyond their rosters. If you can decide who is the better prospect playing in a different conferences and systems, then that comparison should only becomes easier in the same league and similar systems. You get so uptight as though he’s your son or something. The kid is not even a Jet yet.
