    Never heard of this until now...Thought this story was very interesting, missed out on a great player back then to those filthy Patriots

    Jets took Lamont Jordan but then got Kareem Mckenzie in the 3rd

    Kareem was a very good RT until the Jets couldn’t sign him in 05

    You sure can’t beat drafting an RB with a mid-second round pick to play career backup to Curtis Martin. Who needs Matt Light?

    That makes me mad. I remember the Pats jumping in front of us and grapping Light and finding out later the Jets wanted him. He was a super good RT for ten years.

    At least it shows that we did have a clue or an idea on who to draft. It seems like our backup plans suck during drafts.

    I’m guessing you’re joking but trading up with Jags would probably require 2 of New England’s entire drafts to make them go for that.
