I hold JD in high esteem so I’m going to remain hopeful until the card is handed in. Then I’m a get drunk and get over it the best I can.
This might be the only reason I'm not more nervous about the seemingly inevitable Wilson pick. I'm fairly confident in Douglas' ability to identify the right talent and for our coaching staff to make it work. With that being said, I really hope the pick is Fields.
Whatever our differences, they're not worth letting them get to you. Take a "sabbatical"...you've done it before, as have I..."the pause that refreshes". In the end, none of this really matters. Besides, misery loves company.
Always good taking a break here and there but no need to quit. QB is a hot topic, whoever the pick. Hope ours will ball out and lead us to glory.
Jets fans are desperate for a FQB at this point. They'd draft the janitor at FSU if he was the only QB available and they'd do it on the #2. None of the guys after Lawrence are worth a top 10 pick but because Patrick Mahomes went #10 overall...
Right... no QB are worth top 10 because... Mahomes! I mean look at their tape, stats, win record, athleticism, throwing abilities, arm strength.... Nah not good enough... please it is so obvious to see the talent. Why for the first time ever QB might go straight from 1 to 4 and it's not because this year lack top end talent too, you have top tackles, top wrs, top TE and top CBs. This draft class is very good overall. And this QB draft class is even more special so much that NFL talent evaluator have recognized that and will throw future top picks to move up to get their guy. 5 QBs will be drafted in the first round and I would also not be surprised if 3 QBs are selected in the 2nd round too.
I think a result of Josh Allen's success coupled with so much unknown from the 2020 season (or lack thereof.) Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
I agree with that. none of the guys after Lawrence are worth a top 10 pick but the Jets will be Jets. Its too late now but as the draft gets closer I think about how much better it may have been to just hang onto Darnold and draft Pitts. If nothing else we'd have a stud receiver. Instead were gonna end up with a rookie QB, same growing pains as Darnold and no stud receiver, sad...
