Fields putting on a show now. What sucks is the two biggest red flags can’t even be assessed in a pro day. We know he has the arm and the accuracy already.
He has all the tools..but he needs to sit for a year.Hes too inconsistent from throw to throw..starts w his feet. He’ll be a completely different guy w a yr under the hood. Wilson pro day much more consistent & refined. Fields more similar to Lance. The latter 2 likey have better high end throws as welll as being better overall athletes.
I have to be honest I wasn't really listening to him waffle on but he was on the other day and I heard him then.
Yeah! I think Wilson will go to the Jets at #2, but if he doesn't, Fields would have to be the pick. And fans should not complain either, because the potential is clearly there. We need to trust Douglas' decision and give that QB a chance.
One thing I've noticed - Fields needs to reset his feet briefly before throwing on the run. Wilson seamlessly releases on the run without resetting his feet, doesn't need the legs in place to generate velocity and distance.
Fields dosn't look that happy tbh, which is a good thing as it shows he feels he could be doing better. That was nice
Fields is from Ga. He would be a natural fit in Atlanta and could sit for a year or maybe even two and learn.
