Having a fast QB is cool but I'm still of the thought that you want your most important player running/getting hit as little as possible.

No I wasn't you jumped in crying about it for no reason when I compared this class to the 2018 one and said fields on film is a more athletic baker. it has nothing to do with his NFL career. I was making a comparison for someone else

 

Nope, but I don't have an answer for you because the question doesn't apply to me. I don't know what I'd want in a running QB because I don't want one. Fields ran a 4.44, Lamar Jackson ran a 4.34 The tenth of a second means jack shit to me because running as a QB in the NFL is situational and rarely in a straight line.

Relax, I never said Sam didn't work hard. But coming out College he didn't have the reputation of studying perhaps more film that any College QB. "Zach is also a film junkie and might watch more film than any other college football QB." And there are many stories like this, about his preparation. Numerous 10-hour drives on weekends to California to work with Beck, while listening to football audio books on the way. To me this stood out as a different level of meticulous preparation, so I mentioned it as a smaller point of difference. Accuracy and TO were bigger ones that make me think these players are not close comparisons.

 

Sorry, you commented on his time in a way that looked like you were defending a slow time, I mean easy mistake to make on my part to think you were bothered.

 

oh no, not at all. It doesn’t change my opinion of Fields at all. I didn’t even know that 4.44 was viewed as a disappointment by some people.
