Justin Fields Pro Day. March 30th Tuesday

When are they going to release the speed velocity on passes for these Qbs? I’m curious to how they compare to the 2018 class

 

I just recently watched Lance’s pro day. Accuracy aside he looks like he got a bazooka. You could literally hear the football hit the WRs hands. I think the strongest arm title belongs to him.

 

My wife hasn't been wrong on anything since 2010 so she beats them both She thinks football is stupid, and she's probably right on that too...

 

Good to see Mike is there. He is probably the one with the strongest voice on the QB pick

 

No Saleh is interesting. Probably means nothing but I'm fully prepared to overthink it.

They got two out of three. Fields is still in play.

 

That is impressive record. I know Simms called Mahomes, Allen, Lamar Jackson, Murray, Burrow, Herbert. Didn't like Sam/Rosen too much. Liked Tua/Baker quite a bit less than top two he named in their drafts.

Legler, level your godly powers with us here. Did you call all the guys, including Jackson, and went against mainstream on Sam/Rosen as well? How about Watson, I don't recall Simms calling him.

 

I only take the time watch these guys when I feel the Jets might be on the market for a QB. Thus, I’m a mere mortal compared to Simms who does it every year or does that make me a demigod? If I had it my way we would have a franchise QB and wouldn’t spend time watching college QBs for the next decade or 2.

Also I usually don’t rank just pick my fav for the guys I would like for the Jets like any normal fan.

I feel like Baker is just getting going as a player. He looked great 2nd half of last season. Remember Brees had a similar start to his career.

 

Simms has been wrong on a few, he had Haskins over Daniel Jones

 

FYI - OSU’s pro day will not be on NFLN. It will be on the Big 10 network. How convenient.

It’s not quite that binary. In reality, both could be wrong (Jets luck), or both could be right. I’m an optimist, so I’m hoping for a 2017 redux where we can’t possibly go wrong!
