No doubt the commentary is very positive but I just learned Zach's ability to recall was discussed which is great to hear. His throws on movement are so terrific. I usually don't care about pro days but the ones fading and moving side to side tell me he can avoid the sack better than most. Heard he had 2 injuries before but things look good from recovery standpoint
Notes so far: 3-4 clear misses, mainly overthrows on deep routes. Threw a couple too low on short routes but catchable. Good velocity, especially on short/intermediate routes. Good ball placement, generally on the facemask. Good at throwing on the move, across body, etc. Nothing we didn't know, basically. Didn't hurt himself and didn't help too much. Measurables should ease some size concerns.

Also worth noting the Eagles tried to trade to #3 but only for Wilson and later backed out of doing so. More indication that Wilson is going #2.
He's going to us at #2. NFL network is saying that the Dolphins traded out realizing that they had zero chance of taking Wilson. It's pretty much a given, around the league based on these reporters, that the Jets are taking Wilson.
seems like it now. kinda crazy. I wish we woulda took that deal. miami is getting scary good if tua can progress. they are already solid and have 2 1st round picks in each of the next 3 drafts. thanks houston

Agree, there were some clear misses. Let's not act like the anti-Wilson crowd here is without biases, though. We all have our slant.
If the Jets take a position other than a quarterback and don't move down they seem to have made a colossal mistake.
Did they back out because Wilson is going 2 or because the Niners drove up the price knowing Wilson would be there at 3? I sure hope it’s the former.
The picks themselves do not make you good making the right picks does. We hit on our picks we will be fine.
Not sure but the way it was worded made it seem like they only wanted to move to #3 if they were confident Wilson would be there and backed out once they realized he won't.
