This is maybe his 5th one now.

 

Gotta say I really don't get this one. We need 2 new starters at guard and we sign a guy who appears to be one of the worst guards in the league?

I'm getting the feeling more and more that the plan is for Cameron Clark to get a shot to win the job. If he stinks up the joint, Feeney or Lewis is there to fall back on. It would have been nice if Dipshit Gase gave him a shot in the last few games last year. Maybe far-fetched, but his ceiling is way higher than Feeney/Lewis.

 

I doubt there's much, if any guaranteed money in Feeney's deal.

 

I wouldn't rule out a day 2 pick on an IOL who can push the non McGovern IOL's on the roster.

 

Even so, it is an insipid signing.

Honestly though we need upgrades at both LG and RG. I can see upgrading one of them via the draft but both? It seems unlikely. I would've preferred doing so at one spot via FA where you're getting a known commodity.

Hey, you're preaching to the choir. However, they've spent money before, and it hardly pans out for them. I'm open to someone building his own team. If it's shit, it's nothing new to us. If it works, he's a genius.
