Or... you get the elite QB, still have potentially two picks in the top 36 and at the very least one. I know what I'm choosing.
Yeah I mean he’s not hurting for money, he got a 6 year contract. But he’s not tanking his first and maybe only GM job in the first month and a half
Watson’s agent and his team probably want him in NY. More money can be made playing in New York. But Watson probably prefers Miami or his home town Atlanta
It took intervention for Drew Brees to get it, maybe you need some help too. I hope you didn’t post your own pics on social media after you left the capital... this might be your last post in a while.
Did Watson lead Houston to the playoffs/super bowl with limited talent? Jets can’t afford to skip the process, they must build a team that will provide sustainable success. That takes draft picks and free agents. Watson may attract free agents but will it be enough to make a talent difference?
They have all their picks to trade over the next two years and can easily create the cap space necessary to fit Watson by cutting greatest WR of all time, Robby Anderson. That market is brutal though and McCaffrey kinda already has it cornered. Football wise it makes perfect sense though.
this is so ridiculous. Over the last 3 years, Watson has averaged 4800 total yards w 35 total tds and 10 int w the highest all time completion percentage behind a terrible line. that’s 400 more yards and 10 more touchdowns than our entire offense had last year.
Of course, the Jets should do everything they can to make this happen. However, I’m suspicious of all this smoke. Honestly why would he want to come here when teams out there exist in much better position? To get him they have to trade a good amount of picks which would put them even further behind the 8 ball. IDK, all this noise seems a little too good to be true.
Tua's agent saying he's been in direct contact with the Dolphins front office and there's been no talk of Watson. Take that for what it's worth... I'm not sure if the Dolphins would tell the agent of the QB they are about to ditch that he's about to be ditched.
Some of these Darnold supporters are too much. I recognize his talent and his potential, but I have also seen his flaws and mistakes. They try to blame all of that on lack of talent around him and the horrendous coaching of Adam Gase, which is all true, but Sam was still part of the problem too. Saying Watson is only slightly better is ridiculous.
Got to admit three years ago I watched Darnold and Watson go head to head and thought Darnold looked like the better player.
