I doubt they would go after a guy so young with so little experience.

I didn't hear his name mentioned anywhere else? I can understand why he'd be an up and comer, but I think at least one more year we can keep him...

That's such a good point. No one in their right mind would go after a guy so young with little experience

I doubt it, although the idea of a QB minded coach would probably appeal to them to help get Eli over the hump. Jim Fasseel redux anyone? My money would be on Ron Rivera after getting a little incentive from the league to have a minority head coach in such a large market.

no, mangini was lucky to even get his job at his age. we only did it to spite NE and it happened to work in our favor.

no way a GM hires someone in there early 30's who was a qb coach a year ago to head their team. no way.

give it 2 or 3 more years and Schotty JR will definitely be a HC candidate and target for some team.

mangini has SB Rings and worked with Parcells and Bellicheck(over a decade).

schotty is one year removed from a qb coach job.

Given Magini's success this year, I suspect that the copycat mentality of NFL management types will begin to go for young unproven up-and-comers more and the re-tread old-timers less. It could become the new trend as they try to replicate the "Tangini model"

I don't believe Eli is smart enough to run Schott's offense.

Not a chance that happens, Schott is way to young.

Let's see if an NFL team actually hires a twentysomething coach...

Schott is 32. Mangini is 35. I'm not sure that is too big of a difference.
