To prove a point you fucking dummy. India has almost as many people as China and yet Indians are considered minorities in the US because....wait for it....they are. And so are the Chinese. If you can't see the point I'm making then you truly are a fucking idiot.

To trade up from #23 to get Lance, we'd probably have to move up inside the top 15 at a minimum and maybe inside the top 10 ahead of the Panthers at #8. The Panthers will probably be looking to take a QB, and I could easily see them taking Lance. You're probably talking at least two #1 draft picks and two #2 draft picks. I'd love to get Lance, but I think they'd have a better chance of getting him if he's the QB they want, to either stay put and take him at #2 or just trade down with Cincinnati and take Lance at #5. Even then, we'd have to hope that Atlanta doesn't take him.

I could understand being disappointed in the Saleh pick if we didn't know who the OC would be but the fact that he's bringing LaFleur should almost negate that.

I seriously can't even imagine how negative you have to be to be upset about this. This is easily the most excited I've seen the fanbase about a hire in my lifetime and I've been a fan since the early 2000's.

He may be able to play one of the LB spots, but I bet the best spot would be DE. I believe that's where he played his last season at Memphis and had his best season.

Yeah, we still get that with the OC. Who likely will be, Mike LaFleur. Awesome offensive mind and brother of HC of the Greenbay Packers. Matt LaFleur.

    Stoked.

I love this! If this is any real example of who he is, then I love his self awareness and humility, and I can see why his players and you guys love him.

He's paid his dues. 17 years coaching different parts of teams. They were looking for a CEO type. This guy fills that billet. I like his energy on the sideline hope that translates throughout the team. Has to be a good x's and o's because he made the niners defense pretty good after numerous injuries. His players on SF are congratulating the Jets.

Love this hire. He has. Lot of experience coaching, seems to understand how important it is to have good people around you as well. Curious who we might see as his DC. Marvin Lewis ran a vicious 4-3. Wonder if there is any connection there at all.

but for today, All Kneel before Coach Xerxes

notice how you need to resort to name calling because you’re wrong

still after you changing the rules
    And calling names
    And being a dick

    you PROVED my point

if you ain’t Chinese you is a minority yo

    Message @Brook!
This nice young lady is clearly name calling, bullying
    and getting political

Can you please block her from this happy and uplifting thread ? She is not talking Saleh at all.

    thank you

Does anyone even know if LaFleur is under contract before we make assumptions that he's a done deal?

I like it wanted a offensive guy but with Douglas I think he sees the whole picture. Never liked the Bowles and Gase hire but this one i hope works. We are long overdue. 5 year contract now Douglas go get him some players.

It's being widely reported that this will be the case.

Saleh Isn't even under contract yet, It's all based around an understanding currently. It's almost certainly going to happen though unless he was to pull a move like Josh McDaniels did to the Colts not tooooo long ago.

I doubt It though. He doesn't strike me as a complete douche hat like him.

Shanahan said he would let him pick off some of his assistants but not too many. One LB coach got promoted to fill Saleh spot. The Jets were going to take him.

think it was last year (maybe) but it was changed that HC's can't prevent assistants from interviewing/taking coordinator roles.

I'm talking about under contract to San Francisco. They would have to let him go.

The Johnsons got Douglas, fired Gase, opened up check book, and got out of the way. That's definitely a huge step in the right directions, and it is paying off.
