Yeah I think this is the gist of it. Unless there’s a Joe Brady like candidate we are missing whos moreso the CEO the Jets are looking for, I don’t see who that can be right now.
Can you imagine Nick Saban deciding to come to the AFC East for a few years to try to beat up on his ex-employers the Fins and his good buddy Bill 'Got No Brady' Belichik?

Not saying any of these will be the next Jets HC, but definitely names to keep an eye on Jason Garret Brandon Staley Todd Bowles Dan Mullen - he intrigues me the most. Not sure what his desire to be in the NFL is, but if so id meet with him ASAP. Who knows, he might even think Trask is a legit NFL qb, and could put him in play for us with the Seattle pick or Rd 2 if so, and let is trade down from 2 or take Another stud
I wonder if anyone is interviewing Anthony Weaver. It'd be hard to see him getting a job with how atrocious the Texans defense was but I've read a lot about him one day being an NFL head coach. Young former player turned position coach. I imagine we'll see a flurry of hires as playoff teams start to lose games.
I would want to see Dan Mullen as an NFL coordinator first. Not that I think that'll happen given his status as a college HC but he's a really good offensive mind. He's a bit too whiny and "eccentric" for me to want him as my head coach though. Seems like a Saban with the Dolphins boom or bust HC candidate.
The last thing I’d want is another Joe Judge. That guys act is gonna flame out real quick, like all the rest who try that shit.
i dont want him, and i doubt anyone on this board does, but i said he was a name to look out for in the coaching searches. Could just be a Rooney interview or two, but i think just about every team interviewed Bieniemy so you would have to think there is legit interest. We saw first hand what a horrendous HC he was, but to outsiders may see a man who seems to always lead a top defense, won 10 games with a team who has been the joke of the NFL this decade, and was in a role that nobody would have had success in here... Let them find out the hard way lol.
