Is coles okay??

He got hit pretty hard in the chin by Thomas, and he had a cut there but returned to the game with a big bandage over it. He should be fine.

 

Seems like we're asking this every week.

This poor bastard has been flat on his back three times now this season - against Indianapolis, against Minnesota, and tonight against Miami. Let's all stop for just one moment and be thankful that Laveranues Coles a New York Jet. He exemplifies everything that the organization is trying to represent - toughness, determination for victory, and more piss and vinegar than a bull.

The blood on his chin tonight was green and white.

 

cheap shot artist zach led with his helmet and clearly speared LC, he had a laceration on his chin according to the sideline report, im sure hell be re-evaluated 2morro.

 

I cant say cheapshot, I hate Zack but its footballl. I would expect our players to do the exact same thing. Coles is tough he came back, but Im not mad at Zach, Im more mad at Penny if anything.

 

By next game I'm sure he'll be 100%

When I first saw the hit, I saw it as a spear and thought it would be called.

The video only served to reinforce that view. Thomas led with the crown of his helmet and he's going to get someone hurt real bad and it won't stop until Thomas himself or someone else is blowing on a straw in a wheelchair to get around because of that sort of Chuck Cecil-esque BS.

 

Im fairly drunk so you have to understand, when I see it again I might have a different opinion.

 

it looked clean to me and everyone i was with...but w.e. coles is fine like usual.

 

Thats the way I saw it, more Penny's fault than anything else.

 

I did see it as helmet to helmet. A dirty shot should have been called.

yea we all kept jokin about how coles sat next to penny on the bench and said "lob a pass like that to me again, and im gonna knock your ass out"

The pass before that one looked more like a cheap shot to me....but i think it was shoulder to helmet.

 

I was at the game. In real time it did not look like a cheap shot. It is Football. Watching how Thomas tackles it looked like a typical tackle for him. In slow motion it looked iffy.

My main concern is how many years is CP going to take off his (Coles) career? I know Chad wins and all but some of his passes just put a receiver in terrible position to get killed.
