    Turkish Drummers - YouTube

They look pretty good, but how did you get there from Brits as Jets fans?

Somebody commented on UK food being better now than when they last came over, the turkey drummers are shit processed rubbish and were added for Brits to laugh at.

They have their place with chips as a quick cheap meal but it will be 20 years since I had one lol

EDIT I should have clicked your link lol for some reason I presumed you had found a turkey drummers advert lol

Hell no! Why would we need turkey drummers when we've cornered the world market on chicken fingers?

I mainly just lurk here, but enjoy the shared pain and suffering of the Jets season when it comes around. Just as well the off season is so long. It gives time to recover a sense of hope and positivity before the pre-season!

I’m in North East Scotland and been green and white for too long. Like to support an underdog and in the 80’s everyone else was wearing Miami gear so chose the Jets. Regretted it ever since...

    Chips > crisps btw.

That's probably better. I'm still surprised that he didn't cause a war between the UK and the US.

Great to see so many Jets fans from the UK, many of whom I've never see post before, or only rarely. I hope that you all will post more often.

Now now what’s this about British food?

I have made full English breakfast for my tail gate group and they loved it all...except the blood pudding.

Im half Brit and the food is my link to the culture.

    A pint o heavy is mother’s milk!

Did you tell them it was blood pudding before they ate it?

We call it black pudding in the UK but there is a thing called a white pudding as well (no blood)

White pudding is broadly similar to black pudding, but does not include blood. Modern recipes consist of suet or fat, oatmeal or barley, breadcrumbs and in some cases pork and pork liver, filled into a natural or cellulose sausage casing.

Black pudding is great. Especially with scallops (not for breakfast, of course). Needs to be moist though, not dry.

The full English is a belter. Sets you up perfectly for a day on the sauce.

If there's no black pudding it's not a full English. Period.
