All past-gen local media outlets are dying at this point. It's a question of how fast they are going more than if they are going. The NY Times and the Wall Street Journal are the only NY print outlets likely to still be going concerns in 5 years and I have a lot of doubts about the Times lately.
I’m truly stunned. To someone else’s point, he obviously had good sources for years and reported news before anyone else did, theoretically, making him IMO the best beat writer there is, since that’s a big part of the gig.. and even with his press pass revoked, he still broke the Avery story, which was all things considered, very impressive. That said, you obviously can’t stalk peoples kids. Idk if he did that prior to or after, I thought prior to the way I read it, his press pass revoked. If it was, I’m curious as to what he did to get it revoked, if that wasn’t it? I’d hate to see anyone lose their gig, especially now, and wish him luck. That said, I also hope he gets the help he needs...And now it’s Back to Cimini for me for my favorite beat writer!!
Good bye to him he never enjoyed the job n we never enjoyed him Now he go back to the rest of the world football & enjoy his job
I don’t mind seeing him lose his gig and I don’t wish him luck. He was a bad person. Bad people don’t deserve your sympathy.
https://i.imgflip.com/3up3j2.jpg Now can’t wait for Gase can join him in the scrap heap! They deserve each other. To admit I liked some of Mehta’s work, but for most part not really. Wonder who will replace him? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm surprised Gase hasn't 'quietly' reached out to Manish for Manish to start dropping teasers "Gase might return for 2021 season"
This was the inevitable conclusion once his accreditation was revoked, it's just amazing it took the NYDN so long to figure that out. That makes me think that as of now we don't know half the things that have gone on and somebody dropped some damning news on the daily news in the last 48 hrs. Maybe the Washington Post have something or something came to light internally, but I'm willing to wager that we haven't heard it yet
Put this one in your memory bank for the future & do not jump onto a player band wagon until they PROVE them self not in the newspapers or on TV but on the field
